Shipping and Returns

Hassle Free Return Policy

Our Return Policy lasts 30 days. Within 30 days of purchase we will offer a full refund if you have a change of mind or are unhappy with your purchase. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and know if you're not that we have you covered. If 30 days have lapsed since your purchase we can still offer an exchange or store credit, both options can be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To be eligible for a return your items must be unused and in the same condition you received them and in original packaging. If the products require repackaging, there can be a 10% repackaging fee.

To start your return process email jake@railscales.us with your order number to request an RMA. Please indicate if you are wanting to refund or exchange your order and why. 

Order Shipping /Site Inventory

Our site has live inventory, if its available on the website, its ready to ship. We never do preorders, backorders, or hold your money on unmade items. Orders ship out daily and generally within 12-24 hours after your order is placed. Orders over $300 will require signature delivery (paid by us).

Payment Info

When you make a purchase on railscales.us you are authorizing us to capture payment in the amount of your order. This will show up as a pending charge from "Railscales_instant" on your preferred payment method. Once we have captured the payment for order processing, it is possible a second pending charge of the same amount will show up, however this should fall off within 1-2 business days and you are not charged a second time. 

Refunds

Once your return is received with issued RMA number we will process your return and request. If your return is approved you will be issued a refund back to your original credit card within 48 hours. We are only able to refund your original card used to initiate the purchase. 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund has posted. Next contact your bank, there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and have still not received your refund yet, please email jake@railscales.us .

Sale items

Sometimes sale items may not be eligible for a refund, as in discontinued items, or a seasonal promotion. You will be notified if your items are not eligible. 

Exchanges

You can exchange your items for greater or lessor value, with additional funds being billed or a partial refund issued. Please note this in your exchange.

Shipping

To return your products, you should only return product IF you have an RMA NUMBER to: RailScales LLC, PO Box 2845, Claremore, OK 74018. If you are shipping an item over $75 you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item and are not responsible for lost items in transit to us.
