Hassle Free Return Policy
Our Return Policy lasts 30 days. Within 30 days of your purchase you may request a refund if you have a change of mind or are unhappy with your purchase. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and know if you're not that we have you covered. If 30 days have lapsed since your purchase we may still offer an exchange or store credit situation dependent, both options may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To be eligible for a return your items must be unused and in the same condition you received them and in original unopened packaging. If the products require repackaging, there may be a 10% repackaging fee.
To start your return process email returns@railscales.us with your order number to request an RMA.
LEAF Returns
If a LEAF product is ordered and then returned for thinking it included a $800+ laser, there will be a 10% restocking fee. Our LEAF products price suggests and the pages clearly states it is only for the front sight that we manufacture.
Order Shipping /Site Inventory
Our site has live inventory, if its available on the website, its ready to ship. We never do preorders, backorders, or hold your money on unmade items. Orders ship out daily and generally within 12-24 hours after your order is placed. Orders over $350 will require signature delivery (paid by us).
Payment Info
When you make a purchase on railscales.us you are authorizing us to capture payment in the amount of your order. This will show up as a pending charge from "Railscales_instant" on your preferred payment method. Once we have captured the payment for order processing, it is possible a second pending charge of the same amount will show up, however this should fall off within 1-2 business days and you are not charged a second time.
Refunds
Once your return is received with issued RMA number we will process your return and request. If your return is approved you will be issued a refund back to your original payment method within 48 hours of processing. We generally only process returns one day a week and are only able to refund to the payment method used to initiate the purchase.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund has posted. Next contact your bank, there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and have still not received your refund yet, please email returns@railscales.us.
Sale & Blemished Items
Sometimes sale items may not be eligible for a refund, as in discontinued items, or a seasonal promotion. You will be notified if your items are not eligible. Occasionally we have products that have small blemishes from anodizing we sell at a discount, "blems". These are considered final sale items and no refunds are given.
Shipping
To return your products, you should only return product IF you have an RMA NUMBER to: RailScales LLC, PO Box 2970, Claremore, OK 74018. If you are shipping an item over $75 you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item and are not responsible for lost items in transit to us. We can also make a return label for you to save you a trip to the post office, a shipping charge of $5 will be deducted from your final return amount if so.
Market Flipping / Scalping
Many of our items are in very high demand and often times supply is far less than demand. If products are bought in quantity for the sole purpose of flipping at a profit, and we have evidence to substantiate it, no refund will be given. We do not prohibit or police market flipping, but all risk is on the purchaser if they decide to do so.
