Product Overview

Ascend™ 1911 Scales - CNC machined out of premium G10 material and featuring the same Honeycomb texture as our patented RailScales. We threw out the traditional 1911 grip model and designed Ascend scales to melt into the frame and cover more area, redefining how grips should fit your 1911. Our 1911 hand grips break the 100+ year old grip profile that other companies settle for. While design and innovation has progressed considerably on the 1911, the grip scale area has been left untouched and overlooked. Each set of 1911 grips includes our custom 416 stainless screws that have been heat treated and black oxidized.

If your ambidextrous safety is a "legless" style, like the Nighthawk or Ed Brown, you may run the Single Safety option. If your ambidextrous safety has a "leg," you need the Ambidextrous option.

Fitment: Because of the additional frame coverage, our 1911 slim grips ride very close to the front and rear of the frame. Due to the frame and front strap texturing variations from every manufacturer, there is a small possibility our grips may slightly over hang. If this occurs, you may return them for a full refund. Our magwell cut is a hybrid of a flat bottom and chamfer, allowing for a great look whether you are using a magwell or not. They will match Nighthawk mainspring housing magwells perfectly.

Ambi Safety Model: Due to the numerous makes and versions of ambi-safeties on the market, minor fitment may be required for proper operation. This can be done with a file or sandpaper, then re-oil with WD40 to bring the G10 back to a rich black.

    No fitting required. Fit and finish was superb. I also liked the fact that they included a quality audit checklist in the box as well. Speaks volumes to their craftsmanship. I got the honeycomb pattern, and it feels as good as it looks. Very nice addition to my pistol. Thanks guys! Happy customer.

    Ambi cut fits very well on a springfield armory operator. I wish there was a small relief cut on the left side for the magazine release, other than that they're perfect.

    Ok so yes $100+, however they are legit. I thought they were gonna cheese grate my hands but that was not the case. They are comfortable and help you grip that .45 kick. Works great and look amazing. I've gotten comps about them asking where I got them. They have a tight fit for my kimber custom 2 but no issues. I just wish they came in different colors. You won't regret buying these. Get em rn before outta stock lol

    I’m super happy with this product ! Perfect fit on my 1911 , looks and fell great! I have much better grip on my 1911 also improved accuracy due to a more positive grip on the pistol. Totally worth the price top notch product! Thanks !

    Ascend 1911 grip scales - honeycomb

    I highly recommend the Railscales Ascend (honeycomb) grip scales, as everything about the product exceeded my expectations. The packaging is very professional. The scales themsleves are superior to the competition in design, quality and fit. The scales have a slightly different profile that creates a better contact area for your hands. The G-10 material feels "better" than the stock grip scales that came on my Dan Wesson Specialist. The stock grip scales felt like "plastic", whereas the Railscales feel better. Similiar to grabbing a fake leather wrapped steering wheel vs. a top grain leather wrapped steering wheel. There is simply a different feel and experience with a higher quality product. In addition, the Railscales made a huge aesthetic improvement. I ordered the ambi safety version and they fit my 2021 Dan Wesson Speciality without any modificaitons. Amazing product!
