Product Overview

Ascend™ 1911 Scales - CNC machined out of premium G10 material and featuring the same Honeycomb texture as our patented RailScales. We threw out the traditional 1911 grip model and designed Ascend scales to melt into the frame and cover more area, redefining how grips should fit your 1911. Our 1911 hand grips break the 100+ year old grip profile that other companies settle for. While design and innovation has progressed considerably on the 1911, the grip scale area has been left untouched and overlooked. Each set of 1911 grips includes our custom 416 stainless screws that have been heat treated and black oxidized.

If your ambidextrous safety is a "legless" style, like the Nighthawk or Ed Brown, you may run the Single Safety option. If your ambidextrous safety has a "leg," you need the Ambidextrous option.

Fitment: Because of the additional frame coverage, our 1911 slim grips ride very close to the front and rear of the frame. Due to the frame and front strap texturing variations from every manufacturer, there is a small possibility our grips may slightly over hang. If this occurs, you may return them for a full refund. Our magwell cut is a hybrid of a flat bottom and chamfer, allowing for a great look whether you are using a magwell or not. They will match Nighthawk mainspring housing magwells perfectly.

Ambi Safety Model: Due to the numerous makes and versions of ambi-safeties on the market, minor fitment may be required for proper operation. This can be done with a file or sandpaper, then re-oil with WD40 to bring the G10 back to a rich black.

    Great fit, great texture

    I recently acquired one of my dream 1911's, a Springfield Armory TRP Full rail. I got it used, and it already had a pair of Railscales grips. Great quality, but the Honeycomb texture was a little sharp for my girly hands without gloves. So I ordered the Minidot grips instead. On removal, the Honeycomb grips showed no sign of having to be fitted. They were nice and tight, but not overly so. The new Minidot grips went on much the same. No fitting necessary, no wobble, and great texture. Top self machining quality. There's a lot of 1911 grips out there on the market. My next 1911 will get another set of Railscales grips.

    Modern take on a classic design

    The clean, beveled look goes well with the traditional style of my Colt Commander. The texture and contour is both comfortable and adequately grippy.

    Honey comb grip mini review

    Saw these on a nighthawk and felt them and I had to get them for my trp full rail. Super legit, not too aggressive (like the skateboard tape) but not too soft! Love these grips and was waiting for the perfect pair and these are IT. Wish I could post a pic! Also doesn't interfere with wilson combat heightened extended ambi safety and extended slide release!

    Just put on my 1911 grips on sds imports tisas 1911 the feel, texture, and grip and fit ment are amazing well worth the price can’t wait to purchase other stuff from you guys amazing products !!!

    Amazing grip and fits perfectly on both of my Series 70 1911 and Series 80 Gold Cup. Will definitely buy new grips as they become available for my Sig Sauer P226 and grips for revolvers (Python, King Cobra and other Colt).

    I have 2 sets, one on my Ed Brown "Special Forces Rail" and the second on my Nighthawk "Costa" Rail. Great grips texture and looks. Wouls buy more if they had ambi in this texture.

    Absolutely love these!!! I have the mlok scales on my Marlin 336 dark series with the Midwest Industries hand guard and they feel awesome. So it was a no brainer that I needed them for my 1911.
