G10 RailScales® in MLOK

Great product!!!

I had M-Lok slot covers for my MCX SPEAR LT that I purchased from SC IRREGULARS IRREGULAR DEFENSE. These were polymer 3-D printed, twice the weight, and about .25" in thickness. They actually increased the total circumference of my handguard noticeably. The attachment ooints allowed for the screws to countersink into the rail covers and the polymer construction allowed for them to warp slightly, but since I didn't have one thing else to compare them to, they worked fine. You don't know what you don't know. However, being the owner of a Sig Sauer P226 PRO CUT with G10 grips, when I discovered Railscales and learned that there were rail covers made from the fiberglass cloth/epoxy resin CNC machining process, I knew that manufacturing rail covers out of G10 would make for an extremely durable product that isolates heat transfer, is durable and tough as steel, which wouldn't bend or brake, and would provide a much better grip than a product made from polymer. And so I ordered the G10 Railscales and the MCX CSMR Magazine Release button. When they arrived they exceeded my already high expectations. They fit like a glove, the Torx T20 steel fasteners never strip out, and the Railscales themselves sit almost flush to the handguard that any addition to the total circumference is negligible. They're a million times better than the M-Lok handguard slot covers that I swapped them with. And the SC Irregulars version wasn't even all that bad. But once you've seen what actually out there, there's no going back. The Honeycomb grip, the color, their fit, the product is a perfect product and for the "buy ince/cry once" dream build rifle, they're absolutely required. Definitely 10.5 stars out of 5!

These things look terrific on the gun, they are lightweight, have super grippy texture, fit perfect, come with high quality hardware, what more could you want? Slightly expensive, but an extremely high quality product. Cool magnets/stickers in the packaging, free fast shipping, liked them so much, I had to order more for another rifle.
