G10 XOS® in MLOK

Put 1 long and 2 short mini dot XOS type 1 on a BCM MLOK rail. Even better than I expected. The fit and finish is fantastic, and feel great to the hand. Now I want them on all my rifles! Yes, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I got the short Honeycomb piece for my PTR 9CT M-lok handguard. Sits perfectly behind my Arisaka finger stop and feels organic to the weapon. It’s not gonna tear up any gloves, but it’s gonna provide a good grip to pull it into my shoulder.

These are the covers I’ve been waiting for. I’ve tried multiple other cover from multiple other manufacturers but they all come up short compared to these. On any high end AR build there is no question that these should be the rail covers on the firearm. Easy install, great fit and finish, and the perfect amount of grip without being to aggressive. On a side note railscales customer service is second to none. During installation a few pieces of my hardware were lost and after a quick email replacement hardware was immediately sent to me free of charge, even though I was willing to pay. Railscales has a lifetime customer and I’ll be upgrading all my firearms to railscales

They line up perfectly against each other, covering all around the bottom and sides without gaps on my Wilson Combat AR-15 M-LOK rail.

These things give so much coverage and the additional grip is fantastic. Definitely a pricey option, but the best product in its category by far!

I gotta admit, I was a little hesitant at first to buy 3 of these PLUS the karve totaling out to almost 5 times the price of equivalent polymer/plastic covers and stops from other brands. Without an ounce of doubt I can say I am glad I went this route. First: The packaging shows that there is pride in the Rail Scales product. It comes with an allen key to install and thread locker on the hardware already. I literally installed 3 of these plus the karve in about 10 minutes and most of that time was just fine tuning the placement for my grip. SO easy. Second: Functionally, this texture and material are perfect. The micro dot pattern is exactly the kind of grippy but not aggressive that is perfect for the un-gloved hand. The fit on my Aero Atlas R-1 rail is excellent leaving a thin gap between each pad to ensure it's actually seated correctly on the rail. The hardware is countersunk flush so you can't feel it at all and the edges are finished with care as well. Third: These things look great. It's nice to have a piece of your rifle that sets it apart and makes it your own but also serves equally in function. Get. These. Covers!

I can't begin to explain how perfect these are. I got a set of the Xos and the cutout Xos-H to pair up with a karve I already had on my rifle. The minidot doesn't look like it would lock in as well as it does, I got it for the look and was pleasantly surprised how well it grips. I am saving up to put these on every rifle I have. Great stuff Railscales.

If you don’t have the xos in minidot then you’re support hand hasn’t lived. The new xos is amazing at heat protection and the minidot texture is some kind of witchcraft creating the nest combination of not too aggressive and grippyness. Looking at it I would never have imagined how grippy it is. Ordering a second set of xos for my other rifle. We need an anchor with minidot!

After trying all of the scales available on the market including the original Railscales, these are without a doubt the best on the market. They have over double the surface area of standard scales and look awesome. The Honeycomb texture is aggressive but not uncomfortable to shoot. Even though they cost a little more than comparable products they perform at a much higher level. Keep up the awesome work guys.
