CSMR® Button - Concentric Spring Magazine Release button for M4/AR style rifles. The CSMR features two bosses on the backside to help keep the spring concentric during compression, and a raked 8 degree face for a more natural finger placement. Keeping the spring concentric during compression helps eliminate the crunchy feel when depressing. Offered in two styles, "MilSpec" (visually looks like the MilSpec fingerprint with all the updated features of the CSMR) or "Apex" (a mild yet grippy texture) to accomodate both the agressive or more conservative style of AR's. Also included is one of our 302 Stainless Mag Catch Springs (also available separately for purchase here) for even smoother compression, Patent Pending.

5 Nice texture, and angle

Had no idea that this mag release had an angle to it (unless I cross threaded it?….) but I now actually prefer the angle, and texture is aggressive and tactile. It matches pretty closely to geiselle DDC which is nice.

Super high quality. Fits like a glove. I really like how it is cut out to fit the spring. Its just the small things that really make this product awesome. The texture of the button is great too. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased this magazine release for a build that i am putting nothing but the absolute best parts on. Needless to say it fits the bill perfectly. There aren’t a whole lot of options on the market to upgrade the magazine release with better than mil-spec parts so when I found this product I was super stoked to try it out. I’m so glad that I did and can’t recommend it enough!

5 Simple but often over looked part

Mag release buttons are probably the most simple part on an AR platform and because of that they’re often over looked. Yet we used them constantly when using our ARs. The CSMR Button is simple but a nice addition. Good feel and smooth operating!

Nicely constructed and finished. Lets you screw down the release a little deeper than stock, the angle is also a nice touch. The spring does not make much of a difference though. Good product overall.
