Product Overview
LDAG® - Our 1913 picatinny rail vertical foregrip with the lowest mounting footprint and lighter weight than most poly forend grips on the market. The ultra low mounting system doesn't over hang the rail like most picatinny accessories, eliminating pinch points. Originally designed for a foreign defense contract, we never intended to release the LDAG to the public. After the few of these picatinny forend grips that were sold domestically started popping up in pictures on social media, we started receiving numerous inquiries to purchase. We will be making limited runs of our lightweight, durable LDAG forward grip on the tail end of our contract production from time to time.

5 MK18+LDAG= Chef’s kiss
Posted by Brandon on Oct 27th 2025
I have been looking for a hand stop for my MK18 and came across the Ldag. At first sight I was drawn to the scalloped texturing at the fore and aft. The picture said, “This is a quality piece you’ve stumbled upon”. I could tell this was made of the aluminum that Railscales is known for. They had my curiosity and now they had my attention. I wondered what the weight of a pice like this would be, but I noticed that the port and starboard sides were recessed, I knew it was light. This is a sturdy addition to any MK18 style handguard. The fit and finish are well executed. When plastic won’t do then this is your option. Railscales did what they do best and created a piece that will not only function but looks good while doing so, and we all know that’s all that really matters…

5 LDAG Handstop
Posted by D Paulk on Jul 12th 2025
By far my favorite handstop. Quality is top notch, and the functionality is perfect. I typically use the LDAG and Anchors on my shorter rifles, and the RSB or Emissary handstops on my longer setups. Wish the price tag was not so high, but once you have one you can definitely see why they cost what they do.

5 LDAG

I’ve been waiting for the LDAG to get back in stock for a while- finally got my order in and immediately placed it on my mk18. I previously was running a reversed angled grip (as a hand stop really) since I’m a member of our SWAT team and am generally on entry. The front of the rifle including the Dball, light, and suppressor gets heavy so I love that the LDAG is super light, and offers a good angle as a hand stop with the two options. The grip is solid too, and being that it has 2 retention screws on the pic rail, it doesn’t move an ounce. It’s perfect in size for its use, and doesn’t get stuck on my sling or any other parts of my kit. Super stoked- thanks to the guys and girls at rail scales!

The vertical forend grip is possibly the finest vertical grip on the market! The overall design is quite ingenious and the material execution is flawless. The fit and finish are outstanding. The grip can be mounted for a vertical hold or it can be reversed for a 70 degree position allowing a or comfortable weak hand position on the forend of the weapon. The grip may be considered by some to be expensive but the end result in control management is without question worth it!
