LEAF® - Fixed Iron Sight for DBAL Lasers. Hard mount to your laser and clean up valuable rail space by eliminating your folding front sight. Just mount to your laser, and adjust your rear windage to your Red dot. (This does not include a $800+ laser, it's for the front sight only).

Version 2 Info: The updated version 2 DBAL features several small, yet functional changes. The biggest difference with Version 2 is the additional 29% field of view around the post. The main body has been lowered by 50% which allows the post to appear taller as well as significantly opens up the field of view. The post was narrowed by 0.007" to allow for more precise sight placement as well as more field of view around the post. The overall foot print has also been greatly reduced which lowered the weight down to 3.69 grams, a 43% weight reduction. Version 2 overall post height is still the same as Version 1. DBAL LEAF's will no longer be in our Orbital Grey anodizing and will only be offered in Carbon Black anodizing. The front ear post serrations were also enlarged to create more shadow difference.

    Excellent Front Sight Option

    The LEAF is a great option or a front sight of you’re running a DBAL. I paired it temporarily with a Daniel Defense fixed rear iron and a Vortex AMG UH1 Gen 1 and 3X magnifier in between. The irons lined up perfectly between the optics and the LEAF makes a perfect front sight replacement. Quick to engage, easy to acquire and align. The weight and rail space savings are no trade off for replacing a fixed or flip up iron sight.

    The Leaf is awesome! Having a front sight on my dbal saved space on my tiny Honey Badger rail. With 220 subs have a perfect 25 yard zero.

    Snatched one up as soon as I saw they were back in stock. As with everything else from RS, great quality, and performs as advertised. Using a standard Magpul Pro rear sight and does what I need it to do. Highly recommended - all of my Dbals will get one.

    Awesome but can be better

    I've been using the leaf for several months now and I'm extremely happy with it saves weight and rail space on my 11 1/2 inch BCM. Does what it needs to do with combat accuracy and as a back up sight. My rear sight is a KAC micro if you were wondering if it works with the leaf. One complaint is sometimes when you do snap drills or up drills you will line up the left post or the right post and gloss over the middle one you're supposed to use. I think for me it was because of the size of the 3 post my eye caught the big one and said yes shoot haha. Its a training issue you have to work through but maybe paint them different colors or just have one post? Just a suggestion.

    lacks the fine adjustments of a true sight, but perfectly adequate as a backup/panic sight

    There is only one screw hole on the A3 so when your are bolting it down, the leaf has play left to right. Still a great product but there is room for improvement.

    LEAF for Newest DBAL-A3

    The LEAF sight for the DBAL-A3 is made extremely well, nice machining and finish. However, if you have the newer production A3 the LEAF sight does NOT fit the body of the DBAL like in the pictures on the site. I suggest that new photos of the fitment be put on the website or even better Railscales should make a revised version for the newer DBAL-A3 production, so it sight will fit like the older models. I would be the first to buy one.

    Four stars for now only cause I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot with it, but fits very well and pleasing to the eyes lol. Looking forward to putting it through some things.
