MonoLift™ LAM Riser - An upper receiver rail extension made specifically for the Sig Sauer MCX, MPX, and Spear lines of rifles. It extends the usable rail space for Laser Aiming Modules while still retaining the firearms unique ability to quick swap forend handguard rails yet not effect zeroed lasers. Utilizing the front two pic rail slots on the upper receiver the LAM Riser extends the mounting position up to 2.3" depending on the laser body footprint. The LAM Riser is not intended to be a free floating extension although it does extend over and nearly rests on the forend rail. The LAM Riser only raises the laser unit 0.280" and can still allow iron sights to be utilized (Laser, optic, & optic mount depending). The LAM Riser was developed for MIL units wanting to run SD setups (suppressors under forends) with QD suppressors, allowing them to hot swap the forend rail to a more compact one and remove the suppressor for ultra compact PDW scenarios while not impacting their zeroed lasers. The smaller setup being ideal for concealment, aerial constraints, and CQB restrictions, while the SD setup having full utility of the extra rails space, in some cases negating the need for secondary setup rifle. The MonoLift LAM Riser utilizes the proven Scalarworks® FUSE™ mounting hardware. Optics & Lasers are not included.
